Sustainability on the boards’ agendas: Why, what and how

Long before the Covid-19 turned life as we knew it upside down, sustainability and long-term value creation were becoming hot topics in boardrooms globally. And now, more than ever it is crucial for board directors to stay focused on how to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.

The UN´s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlines the goals for a safe and sustainable future by 2030, and by 2021 the EU Taxonomy will be an important reporting instrument supporting that. This new course will enable board members to take a leading role in supporting the management and guiding companies to secure their future role.

Target Group

Board directors, board members, investors, nomination committee members, CEOs, CFOs, board secretaries and other who report to or are involved with the Board.

Content

The course is specifically designed to enable the participants to assist companies with a systematic approach to identify, implement, communicate and report on the SDG’s.

Key topics are:

  • Understand the importance of the SDGs, and how they should impact the boards role, composition and work processes
  • Implement the SDGs as a fundamental and fully integrated part of the strategy development
