DNVs tilstedeværelse og håndtering av situasjonen i Gulf-området

DNV har omkring 1800 ansatte i Gulf-regionen, fordelt på De forente arabiske emirater, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait og Bahrain. Om lag 400 av disse er fast ansatte, mens resten er innleide. Fire av de ansatte i regionen er norske statsborgere.

Det er med uro og økt beredskap vi følger den alvorlige situasjonen i regionen, og vår høyeste prioritet er å ta vare på våre ansatte. DNV satte krisestab lørdag, som inkluderer både hovedkontoret på Høvik og ledelsen i de berørte landene. Vi har løpende kontakt med kolleger i regionen for å ivareta dem på best mulig måte.

DNV’s presence and handling of the situation in the Gulf Region 

DNV has approximately 1,800 employees in the Gulf region, spread across the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Around 400 of these are permanent employees, while the remainder are contractors.  

We are following the situation in the region with concern and heightened preparedness, and our highest priority is to take care of our employees. DNV established a crisis management team on Saturday, which includes both the head office in Høvik, Norway and management in the affected countries. We are in continuous contact with colleagues in the region to ensure they are cared for in the best possible way.
