Earlier this year INEOS ABS, Ohio, USA implemented our Orbit+ IDS software with the standard package including Orbit Onshore, integration with Risk Based Inspection assessment and interface with SAP.

Orbit+ IDS is DNV’s commercial software suite targeting integrity management for onshore, including oil & gas and chemical plants.

DNV Software is working to strengthen our position in the asset integrity management market, and the software products SilverPipe, Orbit+ IDS, Orbit Onshore and Orbit Offshore are part of that offering. Products that require customer implementation projects.

Few years back DNV aquired the Primalux company in Taiwan, where the Orbit+ IDS sofware was part of this. Now the development and testing is done in Shanghai. Until now Orbit+ IDS has been implemented around the world except North and South America, and recently we got the first implementation in the US.

During February and June this year, Orbit+ IDS software was implemented at INEOS ABS in Ohio with the standard package including Orbit Onshore, integration with RBI assessment and interface with SAP. The INEOS project team has been trained to collect initial asset information and Orbit Onshore information for RBI assessment activity. The benefit of the integration between Orbit+ IDS and Orbit Onshore makes it possible for INEOS to easy identify the inspection schedule and inspection work load after a RBI study.
