ARENDAL: Columbia Ship Management based in Limassol, Hamburg, and Singapore has taken onboard DNV Navigator on 128 of the ships under their management. CSM is one of the largest and most reputable companies in the industry. This is so far the largest contract of DNV Maritime Partner in Arendal, Norway.

DNV Navigator is an information system that meets the growing bureaucracy at sea and reduces paper work to ensure the masters main focus on operating the vessel instead of struggling with intensive paper work.

The information is taken from publications which are well established in the industry and is automatically updated every week. The database gives easy access to more than 900 forms required by local and national authorities’ world wide, and the reports are generated in minutes in stead of hours. 1400 ships under management of 70 companies are using the system.
