DNV to assess the refurbishment of Czech power plant
PRAGUE: DNV has signed a contract with the Czech Ministry of the Environment to conduct an assessment of the refurbishment plans for the Prunéřov II power plant. The findings of the assessment will be presented in March at a press conference in Prague at which both the Czech Ministry of the Environment and DNV will be present.

Milepæl for maritimt miljøprosjekt
Stord: Det maritime samarbeidsprosjektet FellowSHIP nådde i dag en viktig milepæl da en fullskala brenselcelle ble installert om bord i Viking Lady. Viking Lady er et av etter hvert flere skip hvor bunkersolje er byttet ut med gass for skipets fremdrift. Viking Lady er derimot det første skipet til å teste brenselcelleteknologi for energiforsyning om bord. DNV leder forskningsprosjektet, som kan bety en miljørevolusjon innen skipsfarten.
